We decided to see if there were any Roman remains in our local area. The Staffordshire village of Hales is only a few miles from our school and a Roman villa, complete with bath house, has been excavated there by archeologists in the past. The Potteries Museum sent us maps, plans and photographs and we have assembled them here for you to look at. Miss Jenkinson's Year 3 class study "The Romans" as part of their history work and so they have helped to collect and write some of the information.
